Horn player needed

Post by DBarnett » Sun Dec 06, 2020 10:07 am

Hi, I composed this with Session Horns Pro
Not ever being horn player I'm not sure if some of the riffs are what a real player would do
I have some other instrumentals that the feedback said the horn section was just short of sounding "real" "live"
If anyone would like to collaborate we could do a 50/50 deal or whatever equals the number of musicians involved
Thanks for your consideration!

Sent you a PM.
A crunchy, growly sax (solo, even) would be a great complement on High Roller.
I know who I'd call.
"I know a guy!!" :? 8-) :P

Hi Dave! The horn sounds and lines themselves sound great to me! I'm a horn player (bari and tenor saxes), the only thing that is amiss to me is the articulation within the hornlines. In a horn section we would phrase some of the lines differently, adding some staccatto notes or accented notes.....these also serve the purpose of allowing us to take a quick breath so we don't sag our notes at the end of the phrase.

Hope this helps a bit and nice to "meet" you!

-Mandy :D

Well, the next-best thing (from the TAXI TV chat room) is the TAXI vote-of-approval: just a simple
+1
suffices, and sends the same message.

Dave

Did you find a horn player yet? I could stack sax parts that will work well with a synth trumpet on a song like Groovin Soulution. Been with Taxi a few months and seeking collaborators so this could be a good fit.

Hi Buzz,
I found a trumpet guy for "Funk All That Jazz" but I am looking for a Sax player on "Groovin' Soulution" :D
Send me a PM and we can go from there if you're still interested
Thanks!
