Re: How about a video instead?!? Dos Palmas Recordings
Thanks Lamar and Les for the good words!
While halfway into the build I watched a Dave Pensado video on Engineering
(just spent a half hour trying to find it now... and can't...)
anyways... He put the value of a good room at the top of his list.
That would resonate in my head whenever I felt tired or felt like I was going to start cutting corners.
Helped me push through...
You should see it now! I'll post a finished video in a week or so... Still have to wire up a few more lights!
Cheers
Cass

Oh yeah, lots of nice american wood. Love it! Looks like a sweet and healthy room, with lots of light and natural materials. Beautiful!

Love it...loads of character. Now can I assume that no trees were harmed in the making of this studio?

On the contrary - I imagine there were trees cutting in line for a chance to get into that studio - and hear some great tunes!!coxnvox wrote:Love it...loads of character. Now can I assume that no trees were harmed in the making of this studio?
I hope I could record something there someday - add another item to the Old-Guy's Bucket List.
