I don’t think there is a magical number. It’s kind of more like winning a on a slot
Machine. A placement is kind of like luck. The right piece of music had to be In front of the right person when they needed that piece of music. So how do you even get yourself into that situation is a better question. Get music in libraries. Preferably ones that are good at pushing their library or are already well established That is a solid plan but there is no science you can apply to that that tells you x amount of songs gets x amount of placement.
Cause x amount of songs in one library has nothing to do with the performance of those same songs with another.
Pretty sure that doesn’t help.
how many tracks before your first placement?

besides thr frequency of placements, the quality of placements is also equally important. its directly correlated to the music libs you're in. a so so lib that caters to high volume, obscure cable tv placements vs a high tier lib, w/ intl subpubs, that caters to fewer albeit premium network placements could mean a difference of thousands/tens of thousands of $$ at payout. hence you'll run into folks with a lot less tracks that make significantly morecosmicdolphin wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 12:55 amIt's the most important component as it can mean the difference between getting a few placements here and there and getting 100's per year.
