Hi All,

I've been using Trqk recently, and I'm quite impressed. The royalty statements analysis is really useful.
They also have placement detection which I guess will rival Tunesat.
I'm on the free trial. Has anyone else been using it?

Regards,
Steve

The main guy behind it was interviewed on the Syncronized Podcast...sounded pretty interesting but as PRS member I can't try it out just yet.

Can't you get a .csv version of your royalty statement?

Yes. At least I can from ASCAP. The question is, for me... What will all the royalty statement analysis do for you as far as changing your behavior (e.g. what types of tracks you write, who you pitch to, etc.)? With a free version, it could be fun and good info. But would that be worth paying for as far as ROI?

As far as a paid version, I'd be curious if their detection algorithms and channel coverage are better than Tunesat's?

:D Casey

I don't know about you, but I have spreadsheets where I try to track placements and my most successful publishers etc. but it's pretty much impossible to keep up with.
And as far as trying to work out royalties per placement (+reruns, international, etc.), best paying shows/networks — impossible.
This makes it all very easy and is free.
I think they will have to come down with their pricing for detections, but they are just starting out.

No not with PRS. He said in the interview it's something they hope to add but it's only for US PRO's right now

I'm sure they'll build that out soon enough.

Are there screenshots anywhere of what it spits out once you feed your data into it ?

PRS have recently moved away from email statements to having it all in a dashboard type view so I suspect all the data is there somewhere - it may require an API
