Just wondered what you guys think about this one as an instrumental cue. It's my first submission.

Re: Hungry for feedback!
Hi John,
I like the rhythmic feel you have to this cue.
However, I think your sounds are way too dated.
On the Soundcloud like you had a taxi listing number which is looking for EDM cues. I'm not sure if this was a mistake but this is obviously not EDM.
Anyway, I think updating your synth sounds is going to give you a big jump forwards.

I agree the patches sound dated and although the rhythmic movement is cool I'd be careful with too much hihat as it easily gets in the way of dialog. Not sure what genre this falls under as well. Seems like you have chops, might be a matter of familiarizing yourself with what's being used for synch. Listening to collections on quality publishers websites is a good way of understanding what is in demand and how high the bar is.

Hi John,
Reminds me of stuff I did when I started.... I would write stuff with no idea what it would be used for.
I HIGHLY suggest composing a track for a listing.....
You will be much more successful that way!!!
My 2 cents,
Tim
