I don't really know the right approach now. Should I contact them if I haven't heard from anyone?

Keep submitting your forwarded piece as well. The company will contact you if they are interested in using your music for the doc. The Music Supervisor took the forwarded pieces back to the office to play for other people, like the producer. There is a possibility that they might not contact you at all because they chose something else. But you got past a major hurtle and you should feel good about that, and be reassured that this piece has what it takes. According to Matt on the YouTube videos, acoustic guitar instrumentals are very marketable.congrats on the forward!!!cheersHummin'bird
