I hate when that happens!

I'm doing multiple takes of a swinging guitar part, trying to get the phrasing right in that sweet spot .... and after about 6 tries I nail it! But then I listen back and DAMN .. something in the signal chain as gone all glitchy and I have this crackling, gurgling digital distortion, where my M-Audio card has swallowed a belching virtual frog of sorts. Yeah, I reboot and it's gone for a while, but the takes are lost ... and ...I hate when that happens!---------------------------------------------------------------- (y'all are welcome to vent here about whatever it is that gets your musical goat .....)
