I made it to the TAXI Favorites for October 2018!

Hi All - My piano solo "Sweet Ann's Ayre" is one of the 10 featured tracks this month on the TAXI Favorites page! What a boost to find out!

I wrote this for my soon-to-be wife way back in 1996, but only recently re-recorded it. IMHO it has a very strong emotional vibe and memorable main melody - maybe too strong, in fact, to go under dialog; it would probably work better as a main theme. I plan to do some alternate versions (arrangements with strings, small orchestra, etc.) to hopefully increase its usability.

I recorded it on my Steinway A using Earthworks PM40 piano mics. They picked up some pedal noise so I'll play with the placement. I'm an EQ and effects beginner so it could sound much better if I knew what I was doing!
