I would like specifics

Post by stylayly » Fri Dec 03, 2021 11:57 pm

This song was returned and one of the points the screener mentioned is needing "modern production flourishes". While this seems great advice, it's too general of a statement to be helpful. Any ideas?

Hi, one isolated comment might be difficult to interpret, but piecing together all the feedback is often more revealing. You might get more ideas back if you post it all. From a quick listen I like your piece but hear a bright and stiff sounding piano that's upfront so its not in the same sonic space as the subdued orchestral components. Perhaps there's a clue there, that bringing those elements together within the production would present a more useful cue. Just my thoughts though, so see what others say.

Nice piece although I could only listen to 30 seconds of it
The piano is way too Midi sounding and so far Left that it is distracting
