Plenty of " not good looking " people making progress, I see them all the time posting here about placements.

I think you have the wrong approach.
Name me one major artist who is not young, and at least half-hot. oh, I ask this with all respect for you and your post to which I am replying...

In fact, this one white rapper got discovered by a porn star, and I wish I looked more like HE and less like me. I will get you the name and video tomorrow and reedit this.
 There are 16 artists this week alone who are on the billboard's top 100 albums. Of the living, Brenda Lee, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, part of Queen and the Beatles. 9 are deceased. Burl Ives I'm not sure was ever young,or
half-hot, lol! https://www.billboard.com/charts/billboard-200

I'm not talking about major artists, I'm talking about folks who joined Taxi and went on to make a full time income from licensing their music to film and TV production companies.

Chris, you always have to marry your expectations with reality. Some of TAXI's most successful members might be on their way to 7 figure incomes, but I don't think anybody has crossed that threshold just yet. And not to mention, these guys have thousands of songs/instrumental cues in their catalog.

One song making you 7 figures isn't realistic. And if it has happened in the past (ie one hit wonders), those are the exceptions and not the standard.

Rebecca Black was good-looking. It's just today's jaded godless society hated her for her innocence and lack of sexual smut in her song.

I am not asking for 7 digit figure salaries from BABY PUNCH MY FACE, only an open door OUTTA of this sh#thole piss middle-class obscurity miserable trash landfill aches and pains hell-existence.
Great. They played my song. Everyone LOVED it. all 5 panelists wanted a copy. So now what. NOTHING!!!!? Was all that I got accomplished was to get my ego stroked for a few minutes?

For enough money for stem cells so I can get my mojo back and strength back to write more songs.

For something that will get me more than 20-f---ing views per video on my YouTube videos. Like I said, go look at the Youtubes of the good looking people like Logan T Evans, and Lexicarman (two hotties), and compared them to MINE, and, say Rozziethe Alien's (two unsexy losers).

Logan Trey evans

Lexicarman

ROZZIEtheAlien

Mine:

I find it funny that the hotties have thousands and tens of thousands of views per video. I find it extremely offensive I got only 30 views per. I sell my soul for bajillions of views.

I'll know I have succeeded when I get my first death threat and stalker or, more correctly, when I can afford the procedures to be able to wake up pain free with a pep in my step again. I sell my eternal soul for my FULL health and well-being back too. (AND, to be a good-looking in-crowd cool kid.)

Yeah, stop complaining.

That moment came and went.

What else do you have in your bag of tricks?

Nothing?

I just gotta chime in :? Linsay Lohan is a beautiful woman and made millions of dollars, but sometimes the train goes off the track and even all her beauty couldn't put it back ( sorry didn't mean to rhyme ) So it's not just about looks but about attitude and above all , patience. Like they say its a marathon not a sprint. Be happy that you woke a lot of people up with your song. That means you must have something people are looking for. The problem with our society is that advertisers have trained us to beieve that we can have " everything " and have it " now." That's not reality. So keep trying :)

There are many instances of successful Youtubers that are not conventionally attractive but have millions of subscribers, views, and engagements. Here a just a few:

Boogie2988 - https://www.youtube.com/user/boogie2988

The Amazing Atheist - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjNxsz ... RoD9J6X-sw

Lizzie Valesquez - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ7ipP ... 4tmXjCCCHQ

Rosa Bonadonna - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEvXjT ... E9h2Lrvuqw

Their videos are have engaging content that appeals to a broad audience, focused, and presented in a way that is easy to digest. Not that different from music.

Being attractive might get you a few clicks and likes but if the content isn't consistently engaging and entertaining, then those will be just be useless stats.

Cheers,
