Instrumental Trip-Hop
Hey there!
Just submitted my song Nerve Drops to the Instrumental Trip-Hop listing: https://soundcloud.com/arttusilvast/nerve-drops
Let me know what you think if you have time to listen? I ran a bit out of time here, I think the structure of the song could've been a bit more complex. Also, didn't really have time to clear my ears for the mixing.
I think the genre itself was fun to work with: it's funny how much more possibilities there are compared to the 1990s.
----
TRIP-HOP INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a High-End Music Library that’s currently working with a Major Record Label with Worldwide Distribution!
Please listen to the following references they gave us to get a feel for the style and vibe they need:
Trip-Hop Song References
“Dreaming” by Zero 7
“Teardrop” by Massive Attack
“Slowly” by Waldeck
Although the references have vocals, they seek Instrumentals Only for this pitch.
Please send well-produced Trip-Hop Instrumentals that have innovative instrumentation, creative programming, and compelling arrangements. Your production/instrumentation should be "chilled out, trippy," and in the general ballpark of the references.
NOTE: The bar will be HIGH for this request, so please submit your very best! They need Instrumentals that sound more like they belong on a record and less like what might be found in some lower-end Production Music Libraries.
The specific deal points will be negotiated on a song-by-song basis directly with the Publisher. Please submit as many Instrumental Tracks as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis – Short critiques only. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Monday, August 12th, 2019. TAXI #Y190812TR

Thanks Jonathan! It's the Scarbee Rickenbacker Bass from Kontakt 12. I've always been sceptic about virtual electric basses and guitars but this one seems to do the job.

It gave me chills and brought me to an oddly happy place at the same time. Ominous track, great vibe... Nice job!

Re: Instrumental Trip-Hop
I like it but wonder if the screener will have a problem with the little vocal line.
Nice job tho!
