Instrumentals with vocal elements
With instrumentals can you add some vocal elements? Like subtle little riffs, runs and adlibs to accompany the melody or is that risky?

Re: Instrumentals with vocal elements
I think it depends on the genre and how they are produced.Otis12062002 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 19, 2022 2:27 amWith instrumentals can you add some vocal elements? Like subtle little riffs, runs and adlibs to accompany the melody or is that risky?
If you were making Sports Rock for example it's common to have " whoah's , hey's " and other such chants
Vocal chops are common in some Pop/EDM styles too.

Usually listings will say if vocal elements are ok or not. Listen to the references provided and read the listing carefully.
