Is TAXI LEGIT?

Post by BradleyHagen » Tue Jan 23, 2024 8:31 pm

There is alot of criticism out there about this company..... Heck.... I first heard of TAXI back in the 90's whilst living in a crappy studio apt in Hollywood...sitting and sleeping on my fouton, and eating Chef Boyardee..... I laughed at their ad in Music Connection Magazine!
Many years later....I have only been a member for 3 months, some wins, some losses.....but I will say this..... this is a legit company, and everyone from Michael on down cares about you - they WANT for you to get better at your craft...... They want to get your stuff placed... it is in their best interest to do so
I am a born cynic and ass*** so I dont really drink the koolaid, but I am calling it how I see it

I've been both a lurker and a 'silent' member - and regardless of the business side, I've made some solid & lasting friendships with fellow music-makers, co-writers and collaborators.
That alone is/was/will be again - worth the price of admission.

I rejoined after a few years mainly because of the friendships I made whilst I was a member previously.
Taxi is definitely a legit company, it needs a specific mindset and perspective as it is not something for everybody

True....... The music business is also not for everybody....... To all of the detractors, all I can say is - you get out of TAXI what you put into TAXI...... If you are willing to accept change and learn and grow, you will do well here....If you don't?? You won't. It is just that simple

Yeah man.....this community is something special....I've never seen anything like it really. You have folks who take their time to help the newbies like me, and offer great advice..... I mean, these people are busy making money....they have better things to do than answer my dumb questions...yet they do! Someday I hope that I can be that guy!
