ISNI Number

Hey all!

A library that I work with has asked me to get an ISNI number for some of it's sub-publishers. Does anyone here have any experience getting one? I'm in Canada if that makes a difference.

I have one (I am Canadian). If I remember right, the library/publisher I was working with had to complete a form or write a letter. I had a form to fill out as well. I *think* I had to get my ID certified at the passport office. It was some years back so I don't remember the details, I'm afraid.

Thanks Vikki! The link you posted is for an "Individual Taxpayer Identification Number". I was looking for info on "International Standard Name Identifier". Too many organizations with acronyms in this business!
