Re: joint accounts
I did my time at Taxi as a joint venture with my buddy / co-writer and we just split everything 50-50 including the membership , submission fees and copyrights.

Re: joint accounts
You do not need a joint account at all. As long as one person involved with the work is a Taxi member, they can submit the song. Collaborator info matters to the libraries though, so make sure that any cowriters are with a PRO, and be sure that if a library contacts you about your music that you have all of the necessary info that the library will need if they want to sign your music. Stuff like PRO number, full name, physical address, etc. Be clear with the library that there are cowriters, the library will have procedures to handle that.
