Judas Kiss
© John WestwoodVI see them on the tv screen Flying jets and talking greenSpeaking volumes but not aint saying anything The truth is hidden by their Judas kiss vThey say what they don’t mean Play a high card called thirteen So many causes they can fix But the solutions are a trick Masked by that Judas KisschEmpty double handclasps, Pats upon the backbear hugs for the presidentswith nothing in their sacks,They Shake the hand and give a gentle bow smile the smile and yet some howthe benefits they say they bringhave nothing but a hollow ringFailure disguised by a Judas KissVthe hungry are still needing the dying and the bleedingthe aid they give is hit and miss and they wont fill a belly while we watch them on the television giving out another judas kiss.OutroAnd when Im dead and gone There is one thing I wont miss I see it all around me Its called the judas’ kiss

Re: Judas Kiss
The title grabbed my attention - so that's great! Something like that to draw people in is what you want. I read through the lyrics a few times and I really liked what I read. I have a couple of questions. What genre of music are you thinking for these lyrics? Country? Rock Ballad? Just curious more than anything. If I were to bring any constructive comments to the lyrics - it would be this - who are "they" in this song? TV Evangelists? Politicians? Society in general? I felt you had a very solid and valid point to make however felt it was a little vague I don't think I connected with the message you wanted to relay message. Other than that - great job!
