Thanks!

What do you mean by "keyboard"? Piano sounds or synth sounds?

If you want good piano sounds I recommend sampletekk.

You need Kontakt 4 full version to run this piano, but Kontakt is a plug-in I highly recommend that you buy.
There are a huge bunch of programs out there today that require Kontakt.
When you buy Kontakt you will also get a lot of sounds, everything from orchestra to synth sounds.

If you want a modern synth plug-in I recommend Omnisphere. It's a really great synth with around 8.000 sounds.

You can run those plug-ins in 64-bit mode both on Mac and PC.

I would suggest the exact same plugs as orest. Both Omni and a couple of Sampletekk plugs are in nearly everyone of my tracks.

Aside from those already mentioned I highly recommend Komplete 7 from Native Instruments. It has some great classic keyboard sounds that are heard on modern productions plus some great synths that sound very up to the minute.

I've also been enjoying Alchemy from Camel Audio.

I don't have any, but Rob Papen's synths are highly regarded.

Arturia has good stuff and Korg's emulations of their classic hard synths are excellent.

Lots of great choices out there.

Plus 1 on Komplete 7, it's great bang for the buck. I also really like the Kore 2 controller for the real time automation tweakability factor.

There's a large group of us Kore users who've been agitating NI and it looks like it might pay off. Stay tuned for an email that will give their final decision on access to soundpacks we don't have.
