Last Minute Rally Advice

Post by Paulie » Tue Nov 01, 2016 5:21 pm

I'm still attaching labels to CDs, but I'm ALMOST done. I've got a 6:30am flight out tomorrow, I will be in the hotel in time for a late breakfast. :) Here are some things that crossed my mind as I try to get ready:
  • Finalize schedule and note it somewhere so you don't miss anything
  • Make sure to compare main ballroom schedule with other schedules to avoid missing stuff
  • Write down questions you might have for classes (to avoid student question block)
  • Pack headphone splitter
  • Make sure all music is on smartphone
  • Test CDs in car and on stereo (if you still have a CD player)
  • Pack business cards
  • Pack notebook or other note-taking tools
  • Update photo albums on phone to share with friends you haven't seen since last year
  • Make room on phone to take pictures
  • Pack phone charger

I just remembered how full my phone was, and after seeing your list, cleared off unused apps, old photos, and extra stuff I didn't need. :)

Hey Paulie,

This was my first Rally and your checklist really helped. Clearing out phone memory was big since I recorded almost everything so I could go over my notes against it later. I also made a tabbed binder so I could quickly find info. Thanks!
