Length of time for track to be reviewed

Post by markhatter » Mon Dec 04, 2017 4:26 am

Hi,

I joined dispatch last year and was under the impression that this was for tracks that were needed quickly. The turnaround times to create the music are often short but sometimes it's still a month or so before I hear anything back.

Not really a huge issue but I was expecting things to move a little quicker for these listings. Has anyone else seem the same thing?

Thanks

Yes, that's common... I've had D listings take 2-5 weeks, often about the same as regular listings. That being said, sometimes the forwarded tracks do go out to the listing parties before the F/R notifications are sent to Taxi members. I've actually had clients contact me about signing the tracks BEFORE I got the F/R notification.

Write, submit, forget, repeat.

:D Casey

I submitted a listing Sunday night and was shocked to get a message that it had been forwarded the very next day :o

FWIW - I recently got a return/critique for a song I submitted for a listing for last August - for which it probably went in late July, early August.
So - that was nearly a 6-month turnaround. Not unusual. Therefore the "...forget, and rePete" portion of the TAXI Mantra.
Learn it.
Live it.
:? :P
