Love Me Tender -half-capella
Hi all,
I started out wanting to do an accapella version but ended up accompanying myself on guitar.- trying to get some flow to it - but does it stop and start too much ? I had finger snaps in there and then ditched them....Can't tell anymore.....Need some fresh ears... I'd love your input about the mix or anything else.
Thanks a lot.
Chuck

I think it's gorgeous, kind of a Queen vibe. I would keep the focus on the acapella vibe and not overwhelm it with an instrumental arrangement.
Nice!

Thanks Ethan, so you think I should remove the guitars?

No I like the guitars, just saying I would avoid the temptation to add more instruments and take the focus of the voices.

Hi Chuck,
That's really cool! Love the spareness of the instrumentation.
The vocals work great, I'm hearing some of the harmonys overwhelm the lead in a couple of spots- but not much.
I'm working on one too, I'll post soon.
Nice job! -Rob

Thanks Rob. I think I know where you mean about the harmony confusion- I need to get the balance right.
Looking forward to hearing yours!

Yes this is great!
And I agree with the others. Keep the instrumentation sparse as it is.
Kinda like a lullaby in feel. Very nice and great voice by the way.
Good luck with it!

Hey, Chuck.
This is dee-lishusss.
Wouldn't have been as good without the guitar. Loving the harmonies – like halfway to George Harrison – although I agree with Rob that the balance isn't quite right yet.
Real nice.
