Post by i4ni » Mon Feb 08, 2010 9:43 pm

Hey all, i'm new here at Taxi. This was the listing that actually prompted me to sign up to Taxi. I thought i had a fairly decent chance of being on target for this listing, and i'm really glad i joined now :D

Big thanks to screener #19 you made my day!

here's the listing:

METAL SONGS a la the Slayer, System of a Down, Slipknot, etc., wanted by a Music Supervisor at an established Production Company that is a major player specializing in Extreme Sports Film industry. Songs must have a very modern, aggressive sound. No instrumentals please! Broadcast quality is needed (excellent home recordings are fine). Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Thursday, January 7, 2010. TAXI #S100107ME

song that got through is 'This Brutal Embrace'

Cheers Kelvin, hopefully there'll be plenty more forwards for both of us this year! :D

I've seen you hanging out on these forums and i've listened to your stuff a number of times - excellent work man! very unique take on metal, no wonder you've had great success.

Thanks Jeff,

Great idea for your website btw, having it in a magazine style. I read through some of it and i have to say i'm with ya on the lyrical front, i can write riffs and songs without any problem, but when it comes time to do the lyrics it usually takes me forever to get the idea out

Ok, you two Aussies, stop showing off! ;)
