Re: Mic sale... which to choose?
Kids! Kids! Stop this right now! Here's my question: I've always used an old pair of 15" 3-ways to monitor the low lows when I need to.The woofers are going into the toilet. It seems the moths ate them.So I have a choice: Use my Definitive Technology (home) speakers that go down to about 35 hz, or buy a subwoofer to compliment my NS10-Ms? I also have some a/d/s 570s that have some nice lows, but nothing like my old 15 inchers. Please help!Thanx,Ern

Do you complement people when you like them?

You know, a friend of mine - major league engineer - bought an $89 subwoofer at Costco and uses it with his NS-10s. Believe it or not, it sounds great! But why don't you get your 15" 3-ways re-coned?And Ern, nobody posted anything here for about five years before this thread, so why are you kid-kid-kidding us for having a discussion? I find this stuff really interesting.

Well, there was the occasional impugning of each others' mothers. But is that really a problem?

It's a fascinating discussion, Nick & Andreh. I don't want to have to wait for the movie. I am bookmarking the sites you are referencing.. what a wealth of material is available! Thanks to both of you.

I remember being a very confused child thinking that the definition of "discussion" had something to do with throwing large dishes... Good "discussion".... LOL! Casey
