Hi. I use an old roland gr30 with an old gk2a pickup installed on a strat. I midi the roland to the softwares.
It work, but i have to do a lot of midi editing because of the false triggers.
How are you doing with the axon Jen?

Pretty good so far. It's sensitive and I get some false triggering as well, but with discipline playing and thinking more like piano player I can see it becoming a great tool for me.
I ended up mounting the pickup on my telecaster. Flat surface is working well, and I don't have to worry about blemishing the finish from the adhesive since its actually on the pick guard.

Depending on your DAW, you may be able to set a minimum velocity level and duration for your MIDI events, that can really speed the cleanup process.
