missed first deadline but Success for similar listings, thanks

Thanks to Cass, Alan, Mark, and Hummingbird for help with PRO and Submission advice. I applied for BMI, still waiting on official membership, and due to multiple IT errors on my part, working straight through to the midnight deadline for my first submission, missed it. But today, finished the recording, managed to figure out how to turn WAV into mp3, and have succeeded in submission for listings that were similar to the first attempt.

New question: Who is likely to exercise the option to listen to your listed music? Is best policy to check the boxes for allowing listening, or what is the reasoning for declining. Thanks

One of the best ways for a newbie like me to learn and improve my craft is to listen to the forwards posted in the forwards blog. If your submission isn't set to 'public', I won't be able to bask in your greatness! ;)
The flip side is that if you think I am good enough to steal your ideas and sell them - but not be good enough to sell my own ideas - then by all means set your submissions to 'private'!
