a great piece!
A couple questions please:
Is the meter in 6?
also did you play the drums on pads?
also, if so, what drum samples did you use?
lastly, how did you get that effect on the guitar?
Thanks for all the infor...a great piece!

Yes, I had my grid set to 6/4.charlie2 wrote:a great piece!

Drums are from NI Battery 3. I think the "Pop kit" or "Rock kit". I played the drums on my MIDI keyboard, starting with kick and snare, then go back and add hihats, cymbal crashes, change velocities, etc.charlie2 wrote:also did you play the drums on pads?

There are two guitar tracks, both using NI Guitar Rig 3. The melodic part has delay, reverb, and overdrive. The other is more overdriven with reverb only.charlie2 wrote:lastly, how did you get that effect on the guitar?
Bass is Scarbee Pre bass in Kontakt 4.
Thanks!

That is great stuff. I don't know anything about 30 Seconds to Mars or Daughtry, but I know Quentin Tarantino and this would fit right into one of his films. Congratulations on that forward. -- John
