a great piece!

A couple questions please:

Is the meter in 6?
also did you play the drums on pads?
also, if so, what drum samples did you use?
lastly, how did you get that effect on the guitar?

Yes, I had my grid set to 6/4.

Drums are from NI Battery 3. I think the "Pop kit" or "Rock kit". I played the drums on my MIDI keyboard, starting with kick and snare, then go back and add hihats, cymbal crashes, change velocities, etc.

There are two guitar tracks, both using NI Guitar Rig 3. The melodic part has delay, reverb, and overdrive. The other is more overdriven with reverb only.

Bass is Scarbee Pre bass in Kontakt 4.

That is great stuff. I don't know anything about 30 Seconds to Mars or Daughtry, but I know Quentin Tarantino and this would fit right into one of his films. Congratulations on that forward. -- John
