Excellent Andy, I dig seeing the room where all that great advice comes from. :)

Very nice setup, Andy.
Cool Mesa amp. Are the keyboard arranged so you can stand up when recording?

Yessir Magne. Mesa F-30.

It's meant to ease the back strain. It works although I don't have a really clean way of supporting my Mac keyboard and so it sits on top of the AKai MPK88. And the mouse is a little farther to the right than is really ergonomically perfect, but it keeps me dancing around and moving.

I can also use a stool and sit as well.

Cool, clean, streamlined workspace. Thanks Andy.

Say, what is with all the sand that I've heard about from you and I think KC and Russell, too?

The lighter things are, they more they can resonate sympathetically. So my stands are hollow pipe. Fill them with sand and it makes them more massive and reduces the chance of weird resonances affecting what I am hearing mixing.

And it also helps to keeps the stands / monitors upright when kids are climbing on them

Just kidding. They aren't allowed to climb on them.
