I thought it was great, really loved it. The only thing I would change is bringing the guitar parts on top of the drums more.

Thanks for listening and for the feedback. I am a rare bird, in that I am a guitarist, but I have always been guilty of turning the guitars down in mixes (both in studio and live). I guess I try to make sure I'm not being too biased towards my main instrument.Len911 wrote:I thought it was great, really loved it. For a long time, I got bombarded with.. turn up the guitars... so I often turn em up in anything that is a guitar driven type song. But I try not to drown out the drums.. I just LOVE the drums and the beat of a song.. Bass guitar always seems to take a back seat, It's like the redheaded step child here. You get this much room buddy.. and try not to take any extra space LOL (kidding of course)

Hey Dave, pretty rockin track!
I've have been using SSD's quite a bit lately, I really like them but I seem to have to tweak them to get them to work for my tracks, I've spent some time over on his forum, there are some good tips on using compression and other helpful things, you might take a look there if you wanna dig in.
Anyway, i like the track, the drums could loosen up a bit, and I'd lose the claps, other than that it sounds good!
