I don't think 6 months is long enough to say it's non-exploitation. And getting all legal on them will make things worse, don't recommend it. After 1-2 years, if nothing is happening, maybe ask them nicely if you could pull the tracks and cancel the contract. But first, deep breath. Talk to Taxi and see what they know. And other members.
Hi, I did talk to Taxi few months ago and they replied that effectively it was a possibility of a new library in the 2023 summer.
I did searches of the library name on my sontracts and nothing appears...

Thanks

His library is inexistant in all google searches!
Yes these where taxi Forwards.
Just curious... how do you know your tracks have not yet been released if you can't find the library's web site?

Also, didn't you check out the library before starting work for them, or before signing contracts? I'd at least want to look around at what shows/channels/movies they've been feeding, as well as listening to some of their tracks and reading what it says about the company, its policies and its staff. Its always worth doing a bit of research like this before signing contracts.

It is a new Library, I did a search from the name given in the signed contracts.
And yes I do search before signing anything...

I understand how you feel.
Based on my limited experience, it often takes up to three months for a song to appear in a library catalog.
There were some great libraries that didn't publish their catalogs on the web.
I don't take my songs out of my library just because they haven't been in the catalog for six months. However, since they handle a huge number of songs, there is a possibility that they may have missed your song, so I think you should wait for a reply to your email.
From my own experience, if you have a good relationship with your publisher, your emails will be answered promptly, even if they are busy. If you don't get a response, don't send any more music because the other person thinks you're not important. In the music industry, people in the music industry will only approach you if they think they can make money.
From my limited knowledge, I believe there was a past case law in California that allowed a writer to terminate a contract if the publisher did not release the song within six months of signing the contract. However, I'm not sure if that applies to the library business.
I think world folk music is neither old nor new, so I don't think there's any need to rush to cancel the contract.
If I were you, I'd keep his 30-song contract and continue writing for other libraries.
I think I'll make some progress and offer more songs if I decide the library is useful to me.

My English skills are not good enough, so my sentences may be strange, so please forgive me.
I just realized that if the owner of that library is someone I know, he's a very nice guy. He took a very long time to get into the library business. You have to understand that your song is only 30 tracks in his huge body of work .
