New Library Contract
Hello all,
First I want to thank everyone that has helped me get my music up to par, Thank You!
This is a new Library by a very experienced producer and editor
He has asked for any tracks I have available but has not asked for alts (yet?)
Should I create and send alts or just send full versions and see if he wants alts?
Thanks again Forum People and Taxi!

IMO I would send exactly what was asked for, and let them decide if they wish to sign them. Somewhere in that conversation you could say 'I also have alt versions available if wished. Please let me know your naming convention if you'd like them as well.'

That's what I was thinking but being "new" I didn't want to make rookie mistakes right out the gate
Thank you so much for the quick advice

Re: New Library Contract
Congratulations on your deal, Dave!
I would think your library would instruct you what and how to deliver, therefore send the full version, now, and I am certain they will tell you in detail what to deliver afterwards

Re: New Library Contract
It's pretty likely they will want them...but until you know which ones they want then I would hold off as they don't all want the same thing and some have very particular filename conventions
The only Alt mix I would ever run off by default is a an instrumental of a vocal song
