New New Newbie

Hi Everyone

I'm a total newbie to the Taxi forums and this is my first posting!!

After watching the awesome Taxi vid with TAXI Member Jeff Greenleaf I decided how I was missing out by not being here. Jeff said he's got SO much out of hanging out and how helpful these forums are.

It's coming up for 3 years as a TAXI member and I've got a couple of forwards and an offer of a deal - which I declined (not sure if it was the right deal for me ).

Anyway I'm here to hang out, to meet you guys, to learn as much as I can and to be part of the community.

This year I'll be coming to the TAXI Road Rally for my first time - with my songwriter husband - and thanks to Michael's TAXI TV I have a little more of a clue of how it works.

PS. HELP! I think I need some help with setting up a photo on my profile. I got the signature working but the photo button was inactive. I'd also like to add my location from Sydney Australia - that didn't seem to work either.

Hey Zelda, Nice to meet you.

To add your location
User Control Panel --> Edit Profile --> fill in the information you would like to share and click submit

To add you picture
User Control Panel --> Edit avatar --> type in the address of a photo (must already be located on the web somewhere)

Example, the address to the photo on you taxi page is this

Went to your MySpace link, listened to "Deep Inside of Me" and "You're Magnetic". Thought them both very good, very "contemporary" (which TAXI loves). I have high standards for "friends" on my MySpace page (they have to be breathing), so I thought I'd make a "friend request". Nowhere on your page could I find a "add to friends". You also invited people to contact you via e-mail, but I didn't see a link there either . . .
I've never seen a MySpace page without the "add to friends". How'd you pull that off?

Thanks for the offer! It looks like I'll be giving an one day "Multiple Streams of Music Income" workshop in Sydney and Melbourne on the weekend of 11/13-14 (I forget which city comes first). Then I'm flying to the Gold Coast to participate in a training with Christopher Howard.
