New One Here!

Post by listenclosely03 » Fri Jul 29, 2016 1:09 am

Hey Everyone!
Finally joined the forum after being a taxi member for a few years. My writing partner and I have been building a library for just over a year now and are excited to start submitting our music. We have been pretty gun shy about it and hope we can gain some knowledge and info through this forum. We are just as excited to share our knowledge with anyone here. I have been producing and mixing for over a two decades now and still feel like I am just scratching the surface. I do teach recording engineering and mixing with an emphasis in Pro Tools, so if anyone needs help in those areas, I am more than willing.

Below you will find a link to our soundcloud so you can get an idea of what we do. As always, opinions and comments are always welcome.

Thanks again everyone! Hope to meet some of you at this years Rally!!!

Best,

Welcome! No need to be gun shy, if you want to test things out first post a link to your music and the particular listing in the "Peer to Peer" section and you will get great constructive feedback.

Welcome to the Forums, Alexander. It's good to see you here.

I skimmed through your tracks on Soundcloud. To my ear, your strongest ones were in the "Dramedy" style. It's VERY sought after and I bet you could get some traction in that genre.

Hi and welcome. Great that right from the start you're offering to help others. That's what's so amazing here, everyone is up for sharing. Fantastic!

Thanks Paulie. I posted there, and got one response. I went ahead and submitted anyway. Luckily we were forwarded for the first time! 1 for 1 for now!
