I think these are great and you're not going to have any problems finding good publishers who will want an album's worth!
Great stuff.

You certainly have two strong submissions there so I wish you well with them.
Thank you for your words and good vibe (or mood) LOL!
I really appreciate them!
Cheers!

Hello Susan! Thank you for your comments! I grew up listening to The Beatles, probably since I was in my mother's womb.
About vocals, it's me and an old friend who is Paul McCarney's impersonator. He is great at singing the higher notes although we sing unison in "With eyes closed tight" and open up the harmonies where sometimes I go up ("can't you see the things we've done together" part) and sometimes he goes up (like in "tears" word in final chorus).
In the other song "For a while" I'm the lowest voice and my friend the higher.
Thank you and congratulations again for your California Dreaming version!
Regards!

Good luck with them.

Hello Mark!
Thank you! I'm flattered for the "lost recordings of the era" thing

Wow, Horace, these are great tracks! I really think you nailed the vibe. As I was listening, I could totally picture the Fab 4 with their goofy bowl hair cuts playing these one some TV show while girls scream in the audience. Excellent work. The other commenters gave you great tips on production so no need to add more. I do agree that the piano on the first one sounded a tad out of character for the song, kind of added a honky-tonk feel to it, but honestly it's a pretty small part and probably no big deal.
I will be surprised if one or both of these doesn't get forwarded. Kudos and good luck!

Michelle! My belle! haha
Thank you for your words! Keep the secret but I wore a Beatle-wig to impersonate the character of John
It's time to pitch these so I hope you and the others are right and get one or two tracks forwarded!
Kind regards!

OMG the wig idea is brilliant!
I am certain it made all the difference!
