NEW TO TAXI - Sharing some work from recent submissions

Post by natetite » Thu Mar 06, 2014 10:51 am

Hey All,

I'm fairly new to Taxi and extremely new to the forums (first post). I watched the Taxi TV show last night and also watched the community respond dynamically via the chat room. Everyone seems really kind! That's uplifting.

Anyhow I thought I would share some of my recent work.

This was a Disney project originally but it got turned down which isn't all bad since now I remain the owner of all of the publishing. I found a listing that needed something similar on Taxi but I don't remember what it was now... Oh well.

And... here is something wacky. Haven't submitted it because I doubt there will ever be something strange enough for this but it was fun to make.

Looking forward to rummaging through these forums to listen to other people's work!

Welcome! Wow, your "Higher Ground" track is excellent - and stuff like that will be great for ads / TV is seems to me.

welcome Naty?

I absolutely love your voice.

You won't need any production help here from what I just heard.

Good stuff, congrats

Sincerely

Paul

Thanks for the hospitality guys!

dtrain1234, feel free to PM me or simply email me at nate.tite@icloud.com (not sure if I can put an email address in this forum... we'll see what happens!)

The High Ground track featured my niece singing and I did background vocals. I wrote that song relatively quickly (those rare flashes of inspiration) and called her mom asking if she would like to sing on it. She came right over and knocked it out in five takes! Incredibly talented for an 11-yr old and she took my advice and tips without getting an attitude. I was impressed.

Feel free to follow me on Soundcloud and I will do the same! Also, if any of you don't have Soundcloud, definitely look into it. Great way to share!

Hi there and welcome to the forums!
You have an extremely impressive collection on your soundcloud page. The Disney tune is top notch as well.
I have no doubt you will be getting many forwards from Taxi!
Good luck with it, nice to have you here.
Cheers! -Rob

"Girl Meets World" - Great song. Loved the feel and the cool ending. Very nice.

"Hey Bloom" - you know, listening to a number of member's material is like going to school. This is definitely a case in point. To me, the pitch focus is just crazy. Well done.

And welcome.

Bob P.
