NI Action Strings 2 opinions?

Post by jdstamper » Wed Jun 14, 2023 8:20 pm

I've just heard a couple very successful producers say that Action Strings 2 is not very good for professional use, and Action Strings 1 was better.

I didn't get any details about the downside. And all my searches are turning up nothing but glowing reviews.

So I'm wondering if anyone has hands on opinions about the quality of the sounds, and ease of use??

This is just one factor as I'm trying to decide between Komplete 14 Standard versus Ultimate, as Ultimate includes Action Strings 2

Not sure why anyone would say that, I have both and I think AS2 sounds a bit nicer has a bigger clearer interface and more content - If I could only pick one I'd have the V2

This is helpful, Thanks! Do you recall if you've ever gotten any screener feedback related to AS2?

It came out after I left Taxi so no feedback - I've got cues in libraries and on TV using it though
