Dear All Taxi Members,

Thanks for stopping by!

I am very much open to collaborating songwriting with any of you beautiful people who might like to.

My weakest link I think is lyrics but I'll let you decide; simply spend some time analysing my songs on my profile and if you get a feeling that you'd like to work with me, please do come and say hi!

I should point out I'm really looking to write for me as artist and to get label interest. That said, I am also open to writing for sync opportunities if when right fit arrises.

My best advise to you when writing a song is to start by not writing a song but instead, decide what that subject is you want to write about....... Now for the next while, an hour, a day etc... Write down every thought you can think of about that subject. When you have yourself enough thoughts, phases etc. Now you have plenty of thoughts etc for you lyrics....... It comes way easier the more you do.... Marvin

Thanks for your reply, that's very helpful! I remember seeing Ed Sheeran in a interview talk about how he used that technique for 'A team'. I've never tried it but shall do now you've recomended! Again thank you so much and do reach out again for any reason

Bradley, I dunno what you need that you don't have already. Have you checked out the average pop lyric recently? Your lyrics are fine.

You can sing, play and produce. Is that you on guitar, btw? A touch of Prince in you, methinks – kudos.

I do lyrics a lot, but not young lyrics so much. In my humble opinion, you could work on stronger melodies, to be more current. If I can ever help you out, just shout. But hey, what do I know?

Hi Brad,

I am interested in maybe cowriting together, if you are still looking for someone. I am a full time lyricist, who works on songs for sync, as well as for artists. There are quite a few folks on this forum who I think (I hope ) can vouch for my professionalism and trustworthyness (is that a word ?).
