Orchestral Dramatic Tension - 2 forwards!

Post by ComposerLDG » Wed Oct 11, 2017 1:01 pm

Managed to get two forwarded to this listing. "Paper Trail" was written for the listing, while "Cold Sweat" was one that I've submitted before.

ORCHESTRAL-Based DRAMATIC TENSION CUES are needed by a great Music Library with international distribution and substantial success under its belt. They’re on the hunt for Dramatic Instrumental Cues in the general stylistic wheelhouse of these references: “Survivor” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25H6ORr3ink Shark Tank (:50 – 2:00) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in4mAqHn_d4 “The Amazing Race” (:00 - :37) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vwgn_g-QXfg Please submit Instrumental Cues that use Orchestral Instrumentation to create a sense of drama and tension. Stick with one central mood from beginning to end, and layer your instrumentation in and out to give it dynamic builds, forward momentum, and keep it from sounding too flat or linear. If you’re using Virtual Instruments or samples, please make sure they sound convincingly authentic. Anything that sounds quantized, stiff, or obviously MIDI-driven won’t work well for this request. All submissions should be at least 2 minutes in length. Non-Faded, buttoned endings are strongly encouraged. Please do not copy the referenced music in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (Great sounding home recordings are fine). This Library offers an EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 split. You’ll get 50% of any sync fees and 100% of the Writer’s share. They’ll get 50% of the sync fee and 100% of the Publisher’s share. You must own or control your Master and Composition to submit to this pitch. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. All Submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis. Short critiques only. All submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Thursday, September 21st, 2017. TAXI #D170921DT

Nice tension of both of these, Loren! I really like the chromaticism of the piano on Cold Sweat. Great work!

Congrats, Loren! Love the dynamics in Paper Trail. And that unexpected bit at 0:18 in Cold Sweat... super interesting.

2 great tracks Loren, congrats! Really liked the percussion in Paper Trail, and the Piano part in Cold Sweat is fantastic! Also loved the tone of that heartbeat pulse in Cold sweat.

Congrats on the forwards, Loren. Both fit the genre perfectly and are also well performed--sounds great!
