Pauses in vocal phrasing: bad for sync?

IMO the vocal performance is not as "unlistenable" as implied by two of the comments, but it is not at BQ. Possibly also because it feels a little hesitant. I also have no problem with the vocal breaks.
In this style, I would not recommend any panning gimmicks with the voice.
