Yesterday one of my publishers sent me an email to tell me that my track was placed
in Lie To Me (Season 3, Episode 7). This is my first placement, or the first that I know of, Yay!
I probably wouldn't know about this company without a Taxi forward three years ago
(almost to the date). They didn't sign that piece, but I submitted more stuff. Actually,
I didn't get anything signed until in April 2009 (16 months later!). It was something
like my tenth submission until I got the first track signed.

This particular piece got signed in last April, so it got placed pretty quick, methinks.
The first publisher I sent this to, rejected the track. I'm actually very thankful. Had they signed
the track, it probably wouldn't have ended up in that show mentioned above. (different client base)
So, sometimes a rejection is a blessing in disguise
