PM stuck in Outbox...

Hi everyone, question. When you send a message why is it stuck in outbox and not in sent messages? I tried sending a PM 3 times and it's stuck in out box. Can anybody help? What am I doing wrong?

It stays in Outbox until it is read by the recipient, then it goes to Sent.
