Hey Folks....Looking for input from those who use BIAB plus guitar/piano/vocals for basic demo work? Fairly new to home recording approach, have gotten some cuts, deals along the way but have really gotten tired of the: write a few tunes, come down from the hills to the studio, bang away for several hours to (maybe) get something I'm happy with, go back to the hills and start all over...I like it in the hills and would like to just stay here and "git r dun!.... Input please, Thanks, Gregg

Re: Band in a Box
Hey Gregg, I use BiaB fairly extensively, to build what I call a "form" for my songs. Once I have the arrangement figured out I use the BiaB file as a reference track for adding live instruments. sequenced sections, or midi. Keeps everything in line... as I add the live tracks I remove the BiaB stuff. I work with several musicians, and having a ref track that we can all follow helps us put the song together effectively.welcome aboard, by the way!Hummin'bird
