NOT!But yesterday with mic facing the correct way...protools in place, and mbox fired up, Jessica recorded vocals as a favor to someone who needed them to demo a song. And it came out fantastic!I/we have really come a long way ....Want to thank everyone for the fantastic help given here!

Hey you're a fast learner!!!!! That's great. How did you do it? Did you load a finished track onto your Protools and then record the vocals?Nomi

We were given the tracks with the male vocals and without. She was asked to sing a duet with him. Its about quite an adult topic (which I didnt realize as I didnt pay attention to the lyrics) but they felt that her voice was mature enough that no one would realize when she sang it that she was only 16..(but I digress) and she is not planning to use the song for a demo now that mom has figured what the song is about. Anyway she sang along with the male a couple times..got the feel for where the pitch etc was and then she just sang her part to the instrumentals..and we sent that off to the songwriter so they will mix in the male vocals. Pretty simple especially with mic facing the correct way!
