I engineered for a music project called Kids R Us. There was this 15 year old girl they wanted to record a solo. I asked her to give me a note and she bounced my meters off the pegs. Beautiful voice - that makes the lyrics bearable The reverb doesn't do it for me either, but doesn't at all IMO detract from her performance. She needs a condenser mic.
