I am a songwriter and have just uploaded some songs onto broadjam. I want to use the site so people interested in my songs can type in my name and find them. As it is now, the only way I know to locate my songs is to type in my name as the artist. Doesn't that imply I'm singing the songs? In fact, I use lots of different vocalists for the demos. Is this a problem? Did I miss some crucial step in setting up my account? Thanks for any help you can give me!

Re: songwriters using broadjam
Hi Lindy. Welcome to the Taxi board. That issue always bothered me, too.The way I do it is to add the word, "Songwriter", to my artist name. Broadjam tells you not to do it, but it works with the dashes in between. (Search "Ron Brown" and you'll see what I'm referring to).Your fans can still just type in your name on the search page and get your song list, etc.
