Thank you!Up to you, of course, I burn mine at home & make my own labels. The label should be clean & neat, have at least your email address and website, and a list of tracks with genre. A pix makes it more memorable... it's going to represent you to your peers, and possibly a few mentors.

An insert isn't necessary, but you can do one. I usually just put all the info on the CD label, and put it in a jewelcase. How many songs? No point in overloading... but, you want to have good samples of your work. No one can really tell you that. I usually go for less is more... knowing that most people are not going to have the time to listen to the whole thing. I bring a highlighter, and I highlight the one song I wish that person to listen to.I think the CD label should have your email & website address where people can go to hear more/read more about you.If you are going to be entering any songs for the panel(s) (you can drop in one song per panel in a box & CDs are chosen at random), you need to include a lyric sheet (bring elastic bands to put around your lyric sheet & CD). For your mentor appointment, bring a lyric sheet for whatever you plan to play. Bring lyric sheets for more than one song in case there's an opportunity to meet with someone else. For the Mentor Lunch, highlight one song on your CD for the mentor to listen to. There's usually 3 or 4 mentors per 15 minutes at your table for the lunch. As to other than that... there are all kinds of people from the industry there, on panels, etc... and 500 people running up to give them CDs. So whatever you give... keep it simple, put your best uptempo song first or highlight what they should listen to, should they listen.HTH

Hoping and praying is fine, but when you add a little knowledge to that, it definitely helps
