hahahah it's so funny you say that man, I was there as well, and ended up stumbling into everyone and being really startstruck, but I had been talking to them for like 10 minutes before I realized who they were so it was a fortunate icebreaker -Bri

Don't be bashful next time! It's tons more fun with the gang.

Well, something happened today that belongs in this thread. I just got back from a meeting/beer with Michael/songwriter. He's my favorite songwriter, and he was in Vancouver for some other stuff. Getting to hang with him for one short hour felt exactly the same as when I met so many of you. I was bummed when he disappeared from our forum for a while, and overjoyed when he started posting again. To meet him in person, was freaking AWESOME. My rally love is still growing. How about yours?steve

I guess it took me a while to find this thread. My highlight was meeting all the DOTS and realizing I needed to join in with the forum crew. You guys rock!! I had so much fun hanging with you guys.My other highlight was the great surprise that after many rallies (this was my 6th) I could still learn so much from the Driver's Ed courses and from the talented teachers all round the place for the weekend. Now I know for sure: I'LL BE BAAAAAACK!Cisco

Quote:Hey fellow dot-ers. I managed to bump into a few of you.... U guys are awesome! Rally was so fun and inspiring! Don't really have one main highlight..... the whole trip was a highlight BTW, CJ, I was thinking about you last night and have decided to give you grief about spending more time on these boards. You were as nice as you could be when we met, and your smile (and your input and energy) would be very welcome here.Don't be a stranger.Ted

For me the hight-light was Friday night at the bar meeting a bunch of fellow Taxi members (is there a name for fellow taxi members like Taxiites or Taxiers or something?) from all of over the country. At some point guitars came out and we had a little jam right there in the bar. Here's a link to Yvonne Moneira from Brooklyn, NY myspace pic page documenting the festivities:http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.c ... 346445Mike
