Tried a couple of suggestions from the gang.Turned down Sam one db.Turned up drums 2 db and unmuted the original drum machine track (in spots)Turned up techno drums 3db.Added a little reverb to the cowbell.Meter is just starting to clip.Don't know how to do any EQ ing.I see the drums go in the red off and on.Thanks or the help, this is fun.PaulThe song is "I want you right now"http://www.taxi.com/feaker

I don't think the cowbell adds that much. Tambourine might work better, not sure. I would quantize it though to make it tighter. I like the sound of your lead guitar during the solo.

I like the song, I like the guitar and I like Sam's voice. I am not going to write a verse about the bells, Pablito . Elser might be right, better a tambourine.

ElserDon't know what line 6 setting I used. Finally pulled out the manual (that I have never read) and found you can switch cabinets and also found 16 more sounds.BellaIt always seems a songs needs just a little something extra. Paul, this is really good...I'm proud of you. I like Samantha's voice....it's Pat Benetarish to me. I agree with everyone about the tamborines....other than that, great job!

Hey Paul,Nice little tune. Guitars sound nice. The cowbell works for me on the chorus, I'd try to find a sample with a bit more ring to it. Juice up the drums a bit too -- haven't heard roto-tom fills for a while, crank em up! Niece has a real nice voice.Thanks for posting thisErich

I want to start with a disclaimer that I tend to write orchestral music so I am not sure how heavy my opinion should weigh - but I wanted to say something anyway...I really like this one! Great voice, catchy song and nice arrangement. The cowbell works for me but agree with Warren and Erich that I would like it to be louder and have more ring. ~ LydiaEDIT: Oh - and I also like the guitar sound and the techno fills.

chitsI am trying to get her to sing wilh less vibratto. She says she can't help it. It's ok for slow stuff, but the rockish stuff I just don't know. My wife walked in, smiled and said "just like the good ole days aaay dad" I will crank up the drums.I don't know what samples are, but I can adjust the bells on the roland electronic drums to ring more (I think)LydiaGlad you stopped. It is the same thing for me when I listen your music. I say " wow, this is really nice", but don't even have a clue to comment on specifics:)Just saying you like it means alot.I think more folks are in favor on the bells, so I will keep them.Everyone should have a chance to play this roland set. Paul,I like this. Sam sounds good .. a woman rock song .. we need more of those around here!! Bells work for me. I really like the bridge or whatever it is at 2:20.Dean
