Thanks Patrick... em, I try my best to avoid EQing anything... my work pattern is, as I put a track together, if any sound clashes with another, I'l just remove it and place it at another section or totally discard it... so yes... it's a matter of getting the right sound from the beginning... Glad U asked cos I wasn't too aware of my writing habits til U asked... made me think a little deeper ^_^-K

ahh ok good to know... even with all the amazing soft synths and samples out there it still seems so hard to find that perfect sound for a song that works well in the mix too.
