hey guys--this is splendid--and you know what billy, i aint one for the conventional, but this is conventionally splendid, and you know what else, IMHO you do have a chorus....it's the title line, albeit short and a one/two liner, but that IS YOUR CHORUS, nice hook line/title... great job, and wade, do you do WINDOWS? great job!and like they say at the barber shop..."next"....all the bestwhoh davie!--damn, i've been accused of being naive (especially by myself--'cuz i really thought you were serious...hell i believe what people tell me, unfortunately sometimes...LOL...love,priscilla

pss;;this can go to so many listings, r&b, clapton-esque when he goes there, this should find a home--the iron is hot NOW for a tune just like this...good luck!

Thanks for all of the comments and help on this! I think the new mix with Wades slide puts this where I like it. The slide adds some dynamics & ear candy that was really needed, PLUS it seats the track into a more rootsy place. I wanted to keep this simple . . . and it is.I still wouldn't have any idea where this would fit other than song 9 on my cd, that's cool with me (but I sure do have a lot of songs battling for that spot!)
