Here is the finished product... Did the best I could with it . It's going in like it is... Here's what I did with it..1) Brought up the bass....2) Brought up the bass drum as far as I could without clipping3) Got rid of synth lead and put talker panned way out4) Put a drop down in the middleThis track was done in the style of .."PROPELLER HEAD"HIGH ENERGY DANCE/HOUSE/BIG BEAT SONGS & INSTRUMENTALS a la Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, The Crystal Method, Propellerhead,DEAD ENDINGhttp://www.taximusic.com/download/193542....ns ... .mp3EFFECT ENDINGhttp://www.taximusic.com/download/193594....nstrumental.mp3

I'm more familiar with Crystal Method than Propellorhead, but I notice that in a lot of CM tracks, the drums are usually pretty simple but really OUT THERE, really driving the beat. I think you have everything else going in that respect but maybe consider the addition of a good, simple ultra-compressed driving drum beat. The ending... I don't know... I think it needs something so that the creativity of the ending matches the creativity of the track itself. This is a good one...Dave

Jay man!I think this is pretty solid, and fits better with the listing IMO... yeah, the ending probably needs some more thought, but I'm sure you'll get there. I like the drop down section!

The synths and percussive sounds are fantastic, but you really need to get that kick happening. I pesonally would go four on the floor at least in some places. If you listen to all of the ala's listed here you will notice how important the driving beat is necessary to move the track and a great deal of that is based on the kick and snare patterns.I really dig the track otherwise with the exception of the ending like Dave said. You should try to build the end to a climax and then sting it.Best,Cisko

hi johnny!!well, honestly i do not hear a damn thing wrong with this--heck you even have some xmas bells in there...LOL...this would fit in many listings, can't comment on the "target" for this particular listing/tune, but it's obvious to me anyway that this has a home.nice work, now i do NOT want one of my "kids" tellin me "hey dad, there's a guy on You Tube drinking ORTHO!!" cuz i'll have to say "shut up and take my damned picture for the forum!" LOL...(johnny and i have an inside joke going on...)all the best, warren

I agree with ciskokidd and Dave. Everything above the bass is very good, but the track *really* needs a driving 4/4 kick, or even some sort of broken beat kick if you like. Either way, it needs to be driven along by a solid kick to set a powerful and undeniable rhythm. You may want to try compressing the bass with the kick sidechained, so as to give the kick maximum space in the mix, too.Another minor thing: at various points during the track (i.e. from 53 secs to about 1:10) it sounds a little messy - like there's some large-scale delay/echo going on that's not quite perfectly on the beat. I would either make sure the timing is bang on, or bring it right down on the mix (or if that's an important effect for you at least reduce the bass frequency of the delay so that you're not getting bass timing issues).Again, just minor points, and it's good stuff.

Hey Jay, I'm with tt & I think if you crank the kick up you'll have it. I'm listening on a 2.1 computer system with a sub and I'm just not hearing the kick drum pounding like it should.other than that you've got it imo.
