My First Serious Demo Recording - 1991

I thought for fun I'd though this bone out, for fun. I still to this day play this tune live and have been working on a modern recording as well. This was my first studio session way back, man its funny to look back... I felt sharing some history with me mates might be cool, I'd stick in the tape deck if you where over to the house but cause y'all are, well... not over to the house I'll post her here. Thats funny stephen, I actually sounded that way vocally naturally. I was totally untrained and had NO clue how tie my shoes let along right great rock tunes. I had three guys who I commonly where a la'ed and they were Eddy Vedder/Pearl Jam, Scott Stapp/Creed and Brad Roberts/Crash Test Dummies... I've had some serious vocal training since then and thankfully have 3+ octaves as apossed to my 1+ back then. Pitch was another great skill to pick up, LOL! wta

When I was listening to this the second time, my buddy walked in and I asked him who you sounded like and he said Weiland, then I told him this predated him, at least commercially.I probably hear Crash Test Dummies vocally more than anything. Maybe one day I will quit being lazy and learn to sing... ...nah. My guitar would kill me in my sleep.

Man, this could still be a good song with a little different treatment!You guys are cracking me up with all of the "way back in the 90's" stuff. I've got some of my songs on an LP (a what?) that I recorded in '72!!!! And it sucks and I'm NOT going to post it!
